Holyoke Credit Union

Holyoke Credit Union was organized in 1911 as a Massachusetts state-chartered credit union to deliver a full assortment of consumer banking services to its members. Today, Holyoke Credit Union is chartered by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and regulated by the Massachusetts Division of Banks. Financially strong and professionally managed for more than 100 years, Holyoke Credit Union is a wise choice for individuals and businesses interested in banking and financial services founded on a dedication to stability, expertise, and peace of mind.

Ownership

Unlike a bank, Holyoke Credit Union is an association owned by its members and managed by a Board of Directors and a professional staff.

Deposit Safety/Security

Holyoke Credit Union deposit accounts are fully insured for each and every member. The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) insures up to $250,000. The Massachusetts Credit Union Share Insurance Corporation (MSIC) insures any amount over $250,000 without limit.

Mission

The Holyoke Credit Union mission is to provide members with an excellent selection of high-quality and affordable financial products and services in a socially responsible manner. Our credit union adheres to the highest ethical standards of the banking industry, while maintaining financial security and providing our employees with gainful and secure employment.

Community Involvement

Our roots in the communities we serve run deep. At Holyoke Credit Union, we enthusiastically embrace community involvement by sponsoring and contributing to many worthwhile causes on both a financial and personal participation level. In short, our dedication does not end with the commitment we make to our valued members, but also extends to the people and places surrounding us.

Membership

By our charter, membership in the Holyoke Credit Union is available to anyone who lives or works in Hampden, Hampshire, Berkshire, Franklin or Worcester Counties in Massachusetts and Hartford County in Connecticut. To become a member, you simply need to make a one-time purchase of a $5.00 refundable Membership Share.
