COVID-19 Update - May 15, 2020 - As of May 18, 2020 HCU's business hours will be expanding as we begin the process of a gradual reopening. The Holyoke and Feeding Hills Drive-thru hours will be: Mon. - Fri. 9:00 am - 4:00 pm and Sat. 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. The West Springfield branch and drive-thru will remain closed until further notice. Important Message to Our Members - April 2, 2020

To Our Valued Members:

          Holyoke Credit Union (HCU) is committed to taking all necessary precautions along with implementing prudent safeguards to protect our members, employees, and the general public in a continuous effort to prevent the spread of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). We continue to implement evolving strategies that will allow us to ensure we are available to service you in our branches for the duration of this pandemic all in support of social distancing.

          To that end, effective Monday, April 6, 2020, we will be temporarily closing our West Springfield branch to both lobby and drive-thru traffic. However, ATM services will remain available at the West Springfield branch including ATM deposits. We encourage West Springfield patrons to use our branches located in Holyoke and Feeding Hills.

          In addition, we will be temporarily reducing our branch hours in Holyoke and Feeding Hills. These branches will be available Monday – Friday 10:00 am – 3:00 pm and on Saturday from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm.

          We are implementing these changes in order to allow us to segregate our Teller and Member Service Representative work force into two teams. This action will help us to minimize the spread of the novel Coronavirus amongst our members, employees and the general public. While our entire work force remains healthy and well today, we are taking seriously the dire warnings from our public health officials that the novel Coronavirus will be more widespread in the very near future.

          Please know that although we have reduced branch hours, HCU’s back office support personnel continues to work full time. In particular, our lending and loan servicing teams are working extra hours to process our many member loan deferment requests. You can count on HCU for help and relief in these difficult times.

          Rest assured, our mobile banking, as well as our network of ATMs are available 24/7. In addition, our Member Solutions Call Center is available:

 

                   Monday-Friday     8:00 am – 8:00 pm

                   Saturday               9:00 am -1:00 pm

                   Sunday                 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

 

          I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience these measures will cause. I believe these difficult decisions are required in order to ensure that HCU will continue to meet all your financial service needs throughout the period of this pandemic and well into the future.
