2026 Children's Book Drive

HCU is proud to once again participate in the Massachusetts Credit Unions Children’s Book Drive this April – an annual initiative focused on putting books into the hands of local children and inspiring a lifelong love of reading.

Throughout the month of April. HCU will be collecting new and gently used children’s books at all branch locations.

  • HCU Holyoke branch
  • HCU West Springfield branch
  • HCU Feeding Hills branch

 

🆕 Local Impact at Every Branch

This year, each HCU branch will donate the books they collect directly to the public schools in their own community. This approach allows us to make an even more meaningful and localized impact – ensuring donations stay close to home and directly benefits the families and children we serve every day.

  • The Holyoke branch donations will support Holyoke Public Schools.
  • The West Springfield branch donations will support Memorial School in West Springfield.
  • The Feeding Hill branch donations will support Agawam Public Schools.
